Tej Kothari's appreciation for fine jewelry was inspired by his mother, a lover of antique jewels who built her passion into a successful business. While Tej was in college pursuing a degree in molecular biology, he accompanied her on a buying trip and occupied his time by designing a few pieces. They sold well and a new career was launched. Today, his designs harken back to the details and proportions of antiques while embracing a modern, minimalist sensibility and revealing his love of nature's tiniest wonders.
