Ceramic artist Hope Bailey's love for nature began as a young girl, where magical hours exploring the surrounding woods of her home introduced her to the enchanting flora and fauna featured in her work to this day. Hope's hand thrown porcelain creations are decorated using the mishima inlay technique, drawing unique images into the surface of the clay then applying a layer of black slip to the surface. Once the objects are dry, the slip is wiped away revealing her signature applied art pieces that are a delightful celebration of organic beauty of everyday function.
